Details:Position Summary:Responsibility for providing processing and clerical support to assigned Account Executive.  Provide backup telephone/mail support to receptionist as scheduled. Position Responsibilities: Sort and deliver mail and faxes; pick up outgoing mail and sort in mail room Copy work as necessary Handle roll-over phone calls from voice mail Issue certificates of insurance under direction of Account Executive Issue evidences of property insurance under direction of Account Executive Run Motor Vehicle Reports under direction of Account Executive Monitor cancellations and keep Account Executive appraised of status Receive claim information and forward to appropriate carrier Enter all required data into the agency management system (Applied) to maintain current claims file data and to set follow-up dates Maintain active suspense file on all claims until acknowledgement, adjuster assignment, and claim number received from carrier Process builders risk new starts and monthly reports Process endorsements, to include change requests, suspense, invoicing, mailing to insured Process audits according to procedure Assist in renewal process by ordering loss runs and monitoring receipt Assist in renewal process by sending letters to insured for updated workers’ compensation payroll Perform preliminary policy checks and set up renewal files Prepare 3 ring binders for renewal policies as appropriate Extend binders as necessary File policy attachments and keep dead filing on a current basis Handle minor problems with office machinery (copier, fax machines, printers) including adding the toner as necessary Back-up the receptionist on her breaks (only once/week). Perform any other support duties as requested by the Commercial Lines Manager
